Dongguan, China – December 2025
On December 8th, SHAMANA activated its on-site solar photovoltaic and battery storage system at its Dongguan headquarters, marking a major operational milestone in the company’s long-term ESG and energy strategy.
The system combines rooftop solar generation with industrial-grade battery storage and a hybrid inverter, enabling SHAMANA to cover up to 95% of its electricity demand during multiple operational days, while exporting surplus energy to the public grid during peak production periods.

Real-time monitoring and operational data
Since commissioning, the system has been fully monitored via live dashboards and on-site displays, providing transparent data on production, consumption, storage and grid interaction.
Key operational highlights include:
Daily solar production exceeding on-site consumption during peak days
Battery-supported operations after sunset, with SOC levels above 80%
Regular surplus energy exported to the grid
Cumulative renewable energy production exceeding 4.4 MWh shortly after commissioning
The installation ensures operational stability, reduces exposure to grid fluctuations and supports predictable energy costs for ongoing operations.
Industrial-grade infrastructure
The energy system consists of:
Rooftop photovoltaic arrays (expanded beyond initial installation area)
Modular lithium battery storage with integrated BMS
Hybrid inverter managing PV, battery and grid interaction
Continuous on-site and remote monitoring
This infrastructure allows SHAMANA to operate critical office and warehouse functions with minimal reliance on external electricity sources.
Part of SHAMANA’s ESG roadmap
This project is a concrete step within SHAMANA’s broader sustainability roadmap and supports transparent energy reporting for international partners, audits and upcoming ESG evaluations, including EcoVadis.
By prioritizing measurable impact over symbolic initiatives, SHAMANA continues to invest in resilient, data-driven and responsible operations.
